After my family escaped Laos, I was born in a refugee camp in Thailand. We then moved to Westbrook, Connecticut where I was raised. I have always been passionate for art and design since I was a child. I attended Creative Center for Youth at Wesleyan University in Middletown,CT when a junior in high school.
I received my B.F.A from The Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York City, majoring in Communication and Graphic Design. I have worked with leading design firms including BMW’s design studio in Tribeca, New York City, working on such projects as architecture, material, product and graphic design trend research and strategic design. I then moved to Maui, Hawaii and worked with ACME Studios for 5+ years. I find inspiration in everything that surrounds me: Light, color, fashion, art, design, photography, product design and development.
